Storage guide
How should the sleeve, tubing, and controller be stored between sessions?
Use dry, stable storage to reduce folds, kinks, moisture, and cable strain.

Before the session
Prepare the controller, sleeve, cable, and treatment area.
During use
Stay awake, seated, and within the stated product scope.
After the session
Check comfort and follow the care instructions.
Good storage protects the next session from avoidable equipment questions. The goal is not to create a complicated ritual. It is to keep the parts dry, clean, uncompressed, and easy to inspect before use.
Let the equipment return to a dry state
Follow the manual after cleaning or use. Do not close damp parts inside a bag or drawer. Keep the controller away from splashes and do not assume an IP rating means the device is waterproof. The cleaning and maintenance guide provides the product-specific care path.
Prevent folds and cable strain
Place the sleeve flat or use the storage shape recommended by the manufacturer. Avoid tight bends in tubing and do not wrap cables around the controller. Store connectors where they cannot be crushed or pulled by another item.
Make the next inspection easy
Keep the controller, sleeve, tubing, and charger together. Before a session, check for visible damage, loose connections, moisture, and unusual odor. A simple storage location is safer than a hidden location where problems are missed.
Do not repair by improvisation
Tape, unapproved adapters, and forced connectors can change the equipment path. If a part is damaged or a session behaves unexpectedly, stop and ask the manufacturer or qualified service channel. Do not increase pressure to compensate for a leak or kink.
Source boundary for storage
The instruction for use controls cleaning agents, drying time, temperature, and service limits. A general device-safety reference from the FDA may provide broader context, but it cannot replace those instructions.
Labeling the charger and keeping the manual nearby can prevent avoidable confusion. Do not assume that a familiar cable, cleaning product, or adapter is approved. When the instructions and a general article differ, follow the current instructions for use.
Store for inspection, not just convenience
Avoid placing the sleeve under heavy objects or leaving the tubing pressed against a sharp corner. A folded cable or compressed connector may be difficult to notice until the next session. Keep moisture away from the controller and do not store the unit where spills are likely. If the device has been dropped, exposed to liquid, or shows damage, do not treat storage as a repair step. Record what happened and use the manufacturer support route. Good storage reduces avoidable equipment questions; it does not establish that a device is suitable for a particular health situation.
