Travel equipment guide
What should a traveler check when carrying the ST-504 away from home?
Protect the sleeve, tubing, controller, charger, and source instructions during travel.

Before the session
Prepare the controller, sleeve, cable, and treatment area.
During use
Stay awake, seated, and within the stated product scope.
After the session
Check comfort and follow the care instructions.
Travel adds handling, temperature, charging, and storage variables. A travel check should focus on keeping the device intact and making the instructions available. It should not present an air-compression device as a way to prevent a travel-related medical condition.
Pack the complete equipment path
Confirm the controller, sleeve, tubing, connector, charger, and any required instructions are together. Keep the tubing from sharp bends and avoid placing heavy objects on the sleeve. A small list helps prevent a missing connector from becoming an improvised repair.
Protect the controller and battery
Use a dry, padded compartment. Keep liquids away from the controller and charger. Follow the manual for charging, voltage, and use while charging. The battery guide should override a generic travel checklist when the product instructions are more specific.
Recheck the setup at the destination
Choose a stable seat and a dry surface. Allow the controller to remain within reach. Inspect the sleeve and tubing after unpacking. If a connector is loose, a cable is damaged, or the controller behaves unexpectedly, stop and contact the appropriate support channel.
Separate travel symptoms from equipment questions
Movement, hydration, and position remain ordinary travel considerations. New one-sided swelling, significant pain, skin color change, breathing difficulty, or another concerning symptom requires medical attention. Do not use the device to test or explain a symptom.
Source boundary for travel use
The product manual controls transport, charging, and operating limits. General FDA information can explain what device information means, but it cannot clear a traveler for use.
Keep travel packing separate from travel health
Pack the controller so that buttons and the display are protected, keep the sleeve away from sharp edges, and avoid bending the tubing tightly. Carry the charging cable that the manual identifies, and check the battery before leaving rather than assuming a partial charge will be enough. At the destination, give the equipment time to return to a normal indoor condition if it has been exposed to a major temperature change. These are equipment checks. They do not answer whether a person with swelling, pain, a recent procedure, or a diagnosed condition should use compression while traveling. That question belongs to a qualified professional.
